WHAT IS
A RIM NYLON ?
RIM Nylon is a nylon-6 block copolymer which chemically bonds molecular
lengths of nylon-6 to molecular lengths of an elastomer.
By varying the ratio of nylon to elastomer the properties of the copolymer
can be adapted to specific formulations.
RIM Nylons combine the toughness of nylon with resilience and impact
resistance of an elastomer.
RIM Nylon is a low pressure molding system which allows for the production
of large, stress-free parts with varying thickness interfaces.
